Thrigun was born on June 8, 1990, into a Tamil-speaking family in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He spent part of his schooling years in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, before moving to Chennai to pursue higher education. He completed his graduation with a degree in journalism from the prestigious Madras Christian College.
Before stepping into mainstream cinema, Thrigun developed a passion for acting through stage theater, performing in over twenty semi-professional theatrical productions with well-known groups like Madras Players and Boardwalkers, alongside acting in independent short films.
