The competition inside the Bigg Boss house is heating up as the show moves into its sixth week. With nominations already done, six contestants are now at risk of elimination: Vamsi, Aman, Varshini, Ram Prasad, Shalini and Rohith. Voting has started, and early trends suggest Shalini and Varshini might be in trouble, while Rohith seems to be getting strong support from viewers.
The final result will be revealed during the weekend episode, when one contestant is expected to leave the house. While the elimination race keeps everyone guessing, the latest episode brought a lot of drama, heated arguments and emotional moments.
As part of the ongoing Dashavatharam challenge, the housemates are taking part in the Road Block task. After the wild-card contestants entered last weekend, Bigg Boss has been pitting the newcomers against the original contestants, known as the OGs, in a series of tough challenges. One of the main tasks was a puzzle game where contestants competed as members of the Green, Blue and Yellow teams.
Shalini was made the sanchalak, in charge of overseeing the task. But disagreements broke out during the game, adding to the tension inside the house. The competition became even more dramatic when Vamsi and Shiv Kumar faced off in a crucial challenge that left Vamsi emotionally shattered.
The task required contestants to find a food item and a plate hidden in the garden area, place them on a designated pedestal and then ring a bell to finish the challenge. Vamsi found the items first, but he rang the bell before placing them properly on the pedestal. Sanchalak Trigun immediately pointed out that the task was not complete and gave the contestants another chance to think about their next move.
At that point, Varshini, who was inside the house, gave Vamsi a hint, telling him to place the items on the pedestal. Shiv Kumar grabbed the chance and took the plate from Vamsi’s hands. Varshini objected to Shiv’s move, calling it unfair.
Despite the argument, Shiv placed the plate on the pedestal while Vamsi handled the food item. Shiv then rearranged the items together, and Trigun declared his performance correct. The decision left Vamsi deeply disappointed. Realising his mistake had cost him the task, he struggled to control his emotions.
Unable to accept the loss, Vamsi started hitting his own cheeks in frustration.
Both Shiv Kumar and Trigun tried to stop him and told him not to react that way, but he was overwhelmed by his emotions. The situation raised concerns because physical aggression, including deliberately hurting oneself, goes against the rules and expected conduct inside the Bigg Boss house. Similar incidents have happened in previous seasons, with contestants facing strong warnings from the host over such behaviour.
Vamsi’s reaction has once again brought attention to the importance of keeping emotional control under pressure. After the incident, Vamsi went to the smoking area and broke down in tears. Trigun was also visibly emotional, while Debjani comforted him. Later, Trigun went up to Vamsi, hugged him and became emotional as well. The moment showed the emotional strain contestants can feel when the pressure of the game becomes too much.
The episode also focused on the battle to become captaincy contenders in the sixth week. Bigg Boss announced that all the wild-card entrants had been given a chance to compete for captaincy, putting them in a strong position from the start.
However, the contestants had to protect their allotted chairs and maintain their positions on the points table as the challenges went on. In an earlier task, housemates were asked to take control of designated areas. But contestants played by their own strategies instead of following the intended format, which made Bigg Boss cancel the task. The decision added another layer of uncertainty to the captaincy race, forcing the contestants to rethink their approach.
In another challenge, Bigg Boss asked the wild-card entrants to share their opinions about the original contestants. The OG housemates then had to identify the tags assigned to them by the newcomers.
The goal was to identify the correct tags and reduce the wild-card teams’ points. The Green team did relatively well, while the Gold and Green teams finished with four points each. The Blue team got two points. With two teams tied, Bigg Boss announced another challenge to decide the next stage of the competition. Vamsi and Shiv Kumar were selected to take part, with Trigun once again in charge as the sanchalak. What followed was the tense showdown that ended with Vamsi losing the task and breaking down emotionally.
The latest episode was a mix of competitive gameplay, disagreements and intense emotional moments. While the wild-card contestants kept getting opportunities in the captaincy race, the clash between Vamsi and Shiv Kumar became the episode’s biggest talking point. Vamsi’s reaction to losing the challenge showed just how much pressure the contestants are facing as the competition goes on.
Although his frustration was understandable in the heat of the moment, his decision to hit himself raised concerns about how he handles defeat. With six contestants nominated and the captaincy battle heating up, the coming episodes are likely to bring more twists. Viewers will now be watching closely to see who survives the elimination round, who becomes a captaincy contender and how Vamsi recovers from this emotional setback.
