Following the massive success of Season 9, where commoner Kalyan Padala lifted the trophy, the makers are reportedly planning a “never-before-seen” spectacle to celebrate the 10th anniversary. The biggest change? A location shift to a water-locked property on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
The Rumor: “Neeti Pariksha” (Trial by Water)
According to leaked reports circulating in film circles this February, the theme for Season 10 is tentatively titled “Neeti Pariksha“, serving as a direct sequel to Season 9’s Agnipariksha (Trial by Fire) theme.
To justify this theme, the production team has allegedly scouted a private resort near a water body (rumored to be near Gandipet or a private island set in Chevella).
Key “Leaked” Features of the New House:
The Floating Jail: Unlike the usual iron bars, this season’s jail is rumored to be a floating cage in the middle of a pool, accessible only by a small boat.
Aquatic Tasks: The garden area might be replaced by a massive pool deck, with major captaincy tasks requiring swimming or underwater endurance.
Island Vibes: The house design is said to resemble a tropical resort, a stark contrast to the colorful, enclosed sets we are used to seeing at Annapurna Studios.

Annapurna Studios in Jubilee Hills has been the fortress for Bigg Boss Telugu since Season 2 (Season 1 was shot in Lonavala). However, sources suggest that space constraints are preventing the “massive scale” planned for the 10th season.
A source close to the production (requesting anonymity) stated: “The 10th season is a milestone. The team wants to erase the ‘studio feel’ and give the audience a visual treat that rivals international reality shows. With the new reality show ‘The 50’ gaining traction, Bigg Boss Telugu needs to reinvent itself visually. A water theme provides that necessary shock value.”
