With the third week of the captaincy race in full swing, the housemates found themselves tackling tough tasks while also being forced to face sharp comments that questioned their gameplay and their conduct inside the house. The biggest twist of the night, however, arrived when Apoorva, Mithilesh and Ramakrishna walked in as surprise visitors, but before that bombshell dropped, the contestants had to sit through a rather uncomfortable parade of remarks about their behaviour.
The captaincy contender tasks for the third week are currently underway, and the latest challenge saw Bigg Boss asking the contestants to race towards two buzzers. The first two people to reach them would earn the chance to compete in a task.
Things got messy almost immediately, though, when Naresh and Vamsi got tangled up in a dispute over who had actually touched the buzzer first. Trigun was handed the responsibility of making the call, and he initially named Naresh before pausing to reconsider. After mulling it over, he declared that Vamsi had got there first, and even went a step further by saying he would accept punishment himself if his decision turned out to be wrong.
Bigg Boss then pitted Vamsi and Jhansi against each other in another challenge, and Jhansi came out on top, securing her spot in the captaincy contender race. Her win came with an emotional bonus a family photograph. The joy, however, did not last long, as Jhansi was handed a difficult choice. She ultimately decided to create a tense moment for Naresh by tearing up a letter that had been given to him, leaving him disappointed and adding yet another layer of drama to the captaincy battle.
After all that tension, Bigg Boss threw the contestants an unexpected treat by sending a large quantity of food into the garden area, and the housemates happily tucked into the feast together. Just as everyone was settling into the relaxed mood after the meal, Bigg Boss announced that the “temptation” phase was over and the “tension” phase was about to begin. The announcement changed the atmosphere in the house almost instantly.
The living-area screen then began flashing comments about individual contestants, with the remarks picking apart their strategies, behaviour and even their intentions inside the house. Jhansi was the first to come under scrutiny, accused of deliberately choosing certain outfits to gain sympathy and prop up her “farmer’s daughter” image.
