The grand launch of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 10 kicked off with host Nagarjuna Akkineni returning for his eighth consecutive season. Airing on Star Maa and JioHotstar, the premiere introduced a 16-contestant lineup structured around the “Dasavatharam” theme, bringing together a mix of mainstream cinema stars, television actors, comedians, and commoners.
The episode began with Nagarjuna making a stylish entry to set the mood for the landmark season. Television actress Debjani Modak was introduced as the very first contestant, followed quickly by actor Trigun, who added early movie glamour to the stage.
Commoner contestant Jhansi made her entry after winning her spot through the Agnipariksha selection process, while celebrity interviewer Sudheer Reddy joined next, bringing a unique conversational dynamic to the game.
Surprises kept coming as commoner contestant Aman earned a direct ticket into the house by securing a Golden Buzzer entry. Special guest appearances by actors Karthi and SJ Suryah brought high-energy film promotion to the stage as they interacted with Nagarjuna.
Experienced TV and film actress Chaitra Rai entered as the sixth contestant, closely followed by Jabardasth comedian Auto Ram Prasad, who immediately brought comedy to the stage.
The selection process continued as commoner Shalini entered after being escorted onto the stage by jury member Navdeep. Actor Temper Vamsi delivered a lively dance performance while declaring his admiration for Megastar Chiranjeevi, after which commoner Srishti cleared her final Agnipariksha test hosted by Sreemukhi to step into the house. Jabardasth comedian Naresh and audience-voted participant Charan further expanded the roster.
Veteran film actor Krishnudu entered as the 13th housemate, followed by model-turned-actress Varshini Sounderajan, who confirmed weeks of speculation with a dance performance. Commoner Rohit joined as the 15th contestant, and TV actor Mukesh Gowda wrapped up the night as the 16th housemate, completing the official “Dasavatharam” lineup.
With all 16 contestants inside, Nagarjuna officially locked the house and announced the “Mahapareeksha” phase. The episode concluded with contestants Varshini and Mukesh winning the season’s first Power Task against Charan and Krishnudu, setting the stage for the game’s initial alliances, tasks, and nominations.
