The nomination process in Bigg Boss 10 Telugu is getting more intense with every passing week, and Episode 16 proved to be no exception. The episode witnessed heated arguments, unexpected twists, and growing tensions between the contestants, with the spotlight particularly on Trigun, who appeared to enjoy the growing conflict between Sudheer and Srushti.
The nominations also came with a new twist, forcing the housemates to rely not only on their decisions but also on luck.
Bigg Boss announced that the contestants had already witnessed two different sides of the game, but the third phase would bring a combination of temptation and tension. This week’s nomination process was different from the previous ones, as Mukesh was protected from nominations because of his immunity power, while Jhanasi, despite being the captain, could be nominated because she had used her immunity power.
The announcement immediately changed the strategies of the contestants.
Trigun had apparently decided to target Mukesh indirectly, making it clear that he would not focus on the weaker contestants and would instead go after the ones he considered the “foxes.” However, Bigg Boss’s decision to keep Mukesh safe from nominations came as a surprise to him. The nomination process then introduced another twist, requiring contestants to earn the power to nominate, and Mukesh was given the responsibility of selecting the contestants who would get the opportunity. He initially chose Ram Prasad and Charan.
Jhanasi gave Ram Prasad an opportunity to open an envelope containing the nomination power, and Bigg Boss revealed that the envelope allowed the contestant to nominate two housemates. Ram Prasad also had the option of either making the second nomination himself or handing the opportunity to another contestant. He chose Vamsi as one of his targets, accusing him of unnecessarily shouting in an attempt to get more screen time.
As Ram Prasad explained his reason, Trigun jumped into the conversation. The nomination involved a symbolic act of putting garbage on the nominated contestant’s head, and Trigun objected strongly to the act, questioning how someone could throw garbage on a person who provides food every day.
His comments led to a disagreement with the other contestants, with Varshini questioning why he was reacting so strongly, while Trigun defended himself by saying that everyone was entitled to their own feelings and opinions. Ram Prasad, meanwhile, warned Vamsi about Trigun’s behaviour, suggesting that Vamsi should remember that Trigun was staying close to him while also trying to provoke him.
For the second nomination opportunity, Ram Prasad chose Rohit, who nominated Sudheer, accusing him of not having an independent opinion in the game. He claimed that Sudheer was being influenced by Varshini and compared his current gameplay to the way he had previously behaved around Trigun. Rohit argued that Sudheer himself had earlier admitted that he was behaving like Trigun’s puppet during the first week, and according to Rohit, Sudheer had now shifted that equation and was allowing Varshini to influence his decisions. The comments triggered a tense exchange between Rohit and Sudheer.
While Sudheer and Rohit were arguing, Trigun began clapping enthusiastically from the side. Sudheer noticed his reaction and challenged him over it, and the exchange quickly became personal, with Trigun telling Sudheer that he would clap whenever he wanted and that he was not anyone’s puppet.
Sudheer hit back, telling Trigun not to make comments from behind the scenes and challenging him to come forward and play the game directly. The confrontation added another layer to the growing rivalry between the two contestants.
The biggest argument of the episode came between Sudheer and Srushti. Sudheer said that he now had the freedom to make his own decisions and described his relationship with Srushti as simply that of friends. Srushti reacted angrily to his comments and challenged his version of their relationship, and their conversation quickly escalated, with both contestants exchanging sharp words. Despite Srushti becoming increasingly emotional during the argument, Sudheer largely remained composed.
The confrontation eventually became emotional for Srushti, who broke down while questioning the situation and asked whether she was really the one constantly following Sudheer or whether he was the one following her. The emotional moment showed how deeply the argument had affected her. Meanwhile, Trigun remained nearby throughout the confrontation and repeatedly appeared to encourage the tension between the two.
As Sudheer and Srushti continued arguing, Trigun’s reactions became another talking point inside the house. He was seen smiling and appearing entertained while the two contestants were involved in the heated confrontation, and his behavior made it seem as though he was enjoying the conflict rather than trying to calm things down. This added to the perception among some housemates that Trigun was playing a strategic role in the growing tension between Sudheer and Srushti.
The nomination process did not conclude with Episode 16, as Bigg Boss announced that the process would continue the following day, meaning more contestants will have to face difficult choices and confrontations. With alliances being tested and personal equations becoming increasingly complicated, the next round of nominations is expected to bring even more drama inside the Bigg Boss house.
