Bigg Boss 9 Telugu Episode 81 Highlights: Final Captaincy Race Intensifies as Ex-Contestants Shake Up the House

As Bigg Boss Season 9 nears its grand finale, the house has turned into a battlefield with high-voltage drama and surprise twists. With only three weeks left, the final captaincy race has begun, and ex-contestants are entering the house to conduct tasks that decide who makes it into the contender list.

Bigg Boss 9 Telugu Episode 81 Highlights

Immanuel, Divya, Sanjana and Rithu Join Captaincy Line-Up

Season 7 star Prince Yawar was the first to re-enter the house this week. Known for his aggressive gameplay, he chose Immanuel as his opponent. However, Immanuel stunned everyone by defeating Yawar and securing his place as a captaincy contender.

Later, Shobha Shetty entered and played against Divya, who won the task with ease. In another twist, Sanjjanaa and Rithu, who had not received any opportunity earlier, were given a chance when Syed Sohel entered the house. In a puzzle-based challenge, Sanjjanaa finished first and Rithu second, pushing both into the contender pool.

The final list of captaincy contenders now includes:

  • Kalyan
  • Demon
  • Immanuel
  • Divya
  • Sanjjanaa
  • Rithu

Among them, Demon and Immanuel have served as captains twice, while the others have each had one term.

Bharani Upset After Missing Tablets; Clash With Divya

A tense moment unfolded when Bharani realized his daily-use tablets had gone missing. He approached Captain Rithu and filed a complaint, requesting that the person responsible quietly return them.

While Rithu checked with all housemates, nobody admitted to taking them. Interestingly, Sanjjanaa, who had taken the tablets, denied it outright.

The situation escalated when Divya stepped into the discussion, which irritated Bharani. He lashed out at her, telling her not to interfere in matters that didn’t concern her. The argument added yet another layer of tension to an already heated house.

Yawar’s Overboard Behaviour With Tanuja Raises Eyebrows

Though most ex-contestants this week kept a low profile, Prince Yawar’s entry was anything but subtle. He flirted openly with Tanuja, asking whether she had a boyfriend. When she said no, he dramatically requested Bigg Boss to play a romantic track.

Bigg Boss obliged, playing “Evaru Evaro Naake Theliyadu” from Animal. Yawar went on to lift Tanuja, spin her around, and perform romantic gestures. While she did not object, she seemed visibly uncomfortable at moments.

Meanwhile, contestant Kalyan, who shares a close bond with Tanuja, appeared uneasy watching the exchange. Even afterwards, Yawar continued singing for Tanuja, declaring that he had “expressed his feelings,” while she quietly smiled and walked away.

Sohel Delivers a Power-Packed, Vintage Season 4 Style Entry

The episode’s standout moment came with the entry of Syed Sohel, who brought his trademark Season 4 energy back into the house.

Entering with the DJ Tillu anthem, Sohel immediately revived the house’s mood. He humorously complained to Bigg Boss for not giving contestants chicken for six weeks and demanded chicken, milk packets and coffee powder.

Bigg Boss first trolled him by sending toy versions of the items. After Sohel’s dramatic reactions, the real items were sent, prompting him to recreate his iconic “Chicken, Mutton” dance steps with the housemates.

A comical showdown followed when Sohel discovered that Rithu and Tanuja had hidden the coffee powder. He wrestled playfully with Rithu until he retrieved it, leaving everyone in splits.

Grand Twist: Non-Contenders to Decide Captaincy Fate

In a strategic move, Bigg Boss announced that non-contestants Bharani, Tanuja, and Suman Shetty would compete in a task to influence the captaincy race.

Whoever wins the task will get a symbolic sword and the power to eliminate one contender by handing the sword to another. This twist is expected to dramatically impact who becomes the final captain of Season 9.
