Bigg Boss 9 Telugu Episode 31 Highlights

Rithu–Demon Love Angle Heats Up

The love track between Rithu and Deeman has been one of the most talked-about topics inside the Bigg Boss house. Initially, this was a love triangle involving Kalyan, but over time, Kalyan drifted away and shifted his attention towards Tanuja. However, Tanuja’s reactions remained subtle, leaving Kalyan puzzled about her feelings.

In the recent episode, Kalyan finally gathered courage and confronted Tanuja directly. Her witty yet straightforward response left him speechless, and the moment quickly became one of the highlights of the day. Meanwhile, Rithu and Immu didn’t hold back from teasing the duo with playful sarcasm.

Immu’s Fun Moment with Tanuja

Earlier in the day, Immu was seen joking with Tanuja in the garden area. Singing a light-hearted song, he teased her about their on-screen pairing. When Tanuja asked his age, Immu said he was two years older, to which she replied, “If anyone asks, I’ll say you’re like my brother.” Immu immediately countered, “Say that and I’ll hit you!” leaving everyone around, including Rithu and Kalyan, laughing out loud.

Kalyan Opens Up About His Feelings

Later, Kalyan expressed his feelings towards Tanuja, asking, “If you ever got a chance, would someone like me be okay for you?” Tanuja chuckled and replied, “This is why I call you a child.”

Kalyan defended himself saying he’s mature enough for his age, but Tanuja clarified that she prefers someone emotionally calm and strong a person who can handle situations wisely. Her words hinted that Kalyan still had a lot to learn before matching her mindset.

Tanuja Advises Kalyan to Stay Strong

Their conversation soon turned emotional when Tanuja pointed out that Kalyan tends to get hurt easily. “You get upset over small things. You need to be stronger,” she told him. Watching them from a distance, Rithu and Immu joked that Tanuja talks to Kalyan as if he’s a small kid a comment that had everyone in splits.

Bigg Boss Introduces “Match It, Win It” Task

Bigg Boss then rolled out a new task titled “Match It, Win It.” Contestants were divided into pairs. One had to visit the museum area, observe an object, and return to draw it, while the other had to identify and fetch the same object based on the sketch.

Bharani–Divya impressed everyone by winning the first round effortlessly. Following them, Flora–Sanjjana and Rithu–Demon scored points in subsequent rounds. However, Tanuja–Kalyan failed to score even once, disappointing the entire house.

Despite Tanuja’s accurate drawings, Kalyan couldn’t guess the objects correctly, leading to their defeat.

Rithu–Demon’s Chemistry Draws Attention

After their victory, Demon hugged Rithu tightly in excitement a moment that quickly became viral-worthy. Watching them, Sanjjana and Immu teased the pair, saying, “Take your time to comfort each other!” The fun banter continued as Demon jokingly tried to hug Sanjjana, who responded, “I’m married, I have to go home!” adding a touch of humor to the intense task day.

Meanwhile, Kalyan tried to apologize to Tanuja for their loss, but she refused to listen, saying, “Go away, you’re irritating me.”

“Hold It Long” – The Second Challenge

Bigg Boss then introduced another physical task titled “Hold It Long.” Contestants had to hold a suspended platform with ropes without letting it touch the ground. As the challenge intensified, weights were added to test their endurance.

Immanuel and Ramu acted as task referees. The first pair to drop out were Suman–Srija, followed by Bharani–Divya and Sanjjana–Flora. The final face-off was between Rithu–Demon and Tanuja–Kalyan.

Kalyan’s Mistake Costs the Task

As pain began to set in, Kalyan suggested Tanuja shift her position slightly. When she did, the platform accidentally slipped and touched the ground, costing them the game.

Tanuja lost her cool and snapped, “You should’ve focused on the platform, not my face! Even when I was shivering, I held on but you didn’t!” Her frustration was clearly visible, marking another disappointing performance for their pair.

Rithu–Demon Lead the Scoreboard

By the end of both tasks, Rithu and Demon topped the leaderboard with 190 points, followed by Flora–Sanjjana and Bharani–Divya at 180 points each. Kalyan–Tanuja trailed behind with 110 points, while Sreeja–Suman ended last with 90 points.

Bigg Boss then asked the housemates to vote for the worst players from the bottom two pairs. Almost everyone named Kalyan, while opinions were divided between Srija and Suman Shetty.

Bigg Boss concluded with a stern warning: “Your weak performance has put your partners at risk. You have only a few more chances to prove yourselves make them count.”

Drama, Emotions, and Unpredictability

The episode was a perfect blend of romance, rivalry, and resilience. While Rithu and Deeman emerged as the strongest performers, Kalyan’s emotional turmoil and Tanuja’s frustration added layers of drama to the show.
